Hi, I’m Mia Jensen
As an Ottawa-based former journalist turned communications strategist, and founder of SwiftQuill Media, my passion is helping independent creators take flight. For years, I’ve seen brilliant indie authors, artists and musicians overlooked because they lacked access to tradition PR agencies. I built SwiftQuill to change that.
My goal is to offer agile, hyper-targeted media relations to connect creative projects to the journalists, reviewers and audiences who will love them. With more than five years of newsroom experience, a background in communications, and extensive knowledge of modern digital tools, I give indie voces the dedicated representation they deserve.
SwiftQuill is named for the chimney swift, a bird that spends almost its entire life airborne. Whether you have years of experience or you’re launching your first project, I’m here to help your story find its wings.
